Wasted my time playing this game.

Hello, Im just informing you what an absolute waste of time this game turned out to be.

I was having such a great blast with this game, spending 2-3 days creating a home, and boasting to some about how fun this game is.

All of a sudden in the flash of an eye, I am attacked by a bear in the wilderness and killed within 10 seconds.
Then I go, "hmmmm why did my game randomly close?"

Already in the back of my mind, I was expecting the worse and stupidity of what was coming.

Sure enough, I google "haven and hearth death" and find a thread where the owner is boasting about

"DETH MEAN DETH IRL GUYS. U NO COME BAK, KAY?"

Great concept, seriously. Not only was this game only salvageable through hours of wikipedia searching with no actual IN GAME help whatsoever,
but you made it very clear to go out of your way to make it confusing for a first timer to not understand what happens if you die.

I am so dissapointed on what this game appeared to be at first glance, but am almost thankful i've died at this point to save me from continuing this apparent headache of a game.

Whomever created the idea of only being able to level up skills through looking at apples and bark was a terrible decision and reason #2 im thankful my character died.

So in short, stop making your game so ridiculous for first timers, get HELP menus, and CREATE A FUCKING RESURRECTION OPTION YOU DOLTS!

This is one player whom was willing to be dedicated to a fine game, but QUICKLY saw the many many many flaws, and ran away before it was too late, goodbye.

There are key concepts you need to accept to play Haven and Hearth, this includes permadeath and open PvP with no rules. Either accept the bullshit this game throws at you or leave and continue to live in the bubble which hides what this game doesn't.

You know what the only thing that separates your mindset from that of a veteran player? When a vet dies, he keeps calm and carries on. When a noob dies, he makes an "OMG I DIED" thread, further polluting this already terrible forum.

I've died, Mvpeh's died, Painhertz has died more times than he's even capable of counting. The difference between them and you is that they don't bitch on the forums when they die.

In short, if you can't stand the permadeath, then find a different game. There are plenty out there.

On the outside, this game looks like a peaceful friendly "harvest moon" style, where we all play nice,
but as i've discovered in these fine 20 minutes, you realize this game is a "IM BETTER THAN YOU, I HAVE MORE THAN YOU" cut-throat, no fun, sort of game.
