My city is under attack atm, I have a vclaim with a personal claim extending past the vclaims range. The person alt spamming (I see the hearth fires appear around the perimeter of my base) is able to trespass with any of the alt characters, and they do leave scents that I've picked up and are marked "Odor of Trespassing."
Looking for a confirm that this is some sort of bug/exploit.

Re: Newly spawned hearthlings trespassing?
i understand your confusion but this is no bug, it is a feature.
any chars can walk on other people's claim when his/her "criminal act" is on.

Ah, so you don't need the "Trespassing" ability to get into a claim, only to interact with anything on it?Tonkyhonk wrote:i understand your confusion but this is no bug, it is a feature.

Re: Newly spawned hearthlings trespassing?
If you don't want newbies trespassing, you could build a simple fence to block them. Destroying it will require the vandalism skill. I cannot remember, but I think just opening fence gates requires the trespassing skill.

You have it right. Opening anything--gates, doors, cabinets, even going in a cave entrance--requires actually purchasing the Trespassing skill.
