Lawspeaker or Chieftain?kraytkiller wrote:Is there a way to switch chieftan?

Lawspeaker requires the lawspeaking ability, chieftain just requires being a villager with I think 25 charisma. The lawspeaker appoints a chieftain. They're the only two members of the village that can invite hearthlings to the village. As long as you have control of the lawspeaker you're fine.
If you don't have lawspeaker OR chieftain access you can't invite anyone to the village, nor place/destroy crossroads. Your only option then is that the lawspeaker has died/dies/renounces the lawspeaker position by clicking the village idol so someone else with lawspeaking can claim the lawspeaker position. If you have access to the lawspeaking character you can simply appoint a new Chieftain without any problems. If it is the lawspeaker and they simply went inactive and you don't have their info you're kinda screwed if you don't have a Chieftain. Even then you're at the lawspeakers mercy if they ever come back and just decide to kick everyone out of the village.

Re: Please Ask Simple Questions Here
This is a tricky question as it depends on your particular situation. Personally i got seperate alts for farming and foraging/hunting so i would never have farming on same toon as other stats you listed.ArtemisGray wrote:What should I be putting my LP into?
As for UA it's neccessary if you run into someone who wants to kill you, but then 120k put into it probably won't save you anyway.
MM at 30 lets you boat-hunt pretty much anything, get more if you think it takes too much time to get your kills.
EXP realy depends on your perception, if you got less than 35 perception i would increase exp a bit, if you already got 35 or more perception then getting more exp is not so crucial anymore
Survival caps a lot of things you can do, assuming someone else does the farming for you (or you make an alt for that) this is the skill i would invest in.

Thanks. I think I'll pump it into survival then. In regards to MM, yeah I've found I can kill boars easy enough.Snk wrote:This is a tricky question as it depends on your particular situation. What MM would one need to 1 shot a fox or a boar? I assume a bow is better for doing that than a sling.

Re: Please Ask Simple Questions Here
One-shotting an animal depends on perception and QL of sling or bow and arrows. Marksmanship doesn't affect it directly. You would need a minimum QL 47 (bow + bone arrows) or Q 218 sling to kill most common(lvl 7) boar with one shot. For a fox it would be QL 16 bow or QL 72 sling. QL above those or increasing perception would make it more likely to kill with first shot.

Thanks, my perception is really low. I guess I need to get that up before I think about trying anything lol.Snk wrote:One-shotting an animal depends on perception and QL of sling or bow and arrows. The first time I remember seeing it was on a screenshot of the destruction of Brisbane last world. RIP. Lately it is in all of LadyGoo's screenshots of the market, for example.Nask wrote:As you can see at the image the wall parts which are decayed show a percentage.

So I think it belongs to Dis, but it could be floating around somewhere in the public domain.
sorry for not really answering your question :S.. I guess what I'm saying is that you may find it hard to get ahold of.
