Sounds like more clear-cutting to me. Noobs making tons of bridges EVERYWHERE, even bridges in the same location, no more than several yards away from one another. Would be a nightmare.Laremere wrote:I think implementing bridges would fix this in a much less game breaking way.

Re: Make boats part of the starting equipment
bridges, if they are ever implemented, should be a major enough undertaking that people wouldn't go around spamming bridges.

Re: Make boats part of the starting equipment
Now that I think about how you put it, yes it should. Maybe having to have the skills Masonry, Wheelcrafting, and Steelmaking, then requiring a butt-load of materials. That should be enough of a deterrent so that only the truly determined towns could undertake such a large project.sabinati wrote:bridges, if they are ever implemented, should be a major enough undertaking that people wouldn't go around spamming bridges.

Re: Make boats part of the starting equipment
Bridgemaking:
30,000 LP
Bridges:
500 bricks
20 bars of steel
30 bars of cast iron
1 torch
Edit: not 1 torch, instead
6 candles
12 raw glass
cuz it'd be cool to have a bridge
with lamps on it and everyone
would gather around the bridges

maybe not that, but think of it, someone would have to swim to make it
