I have discovered others in this odd realm.. Seems as though it is death to all Americans as the first contact I make is with the fascinating elusive species, the Polish Douche-bag, or so I may presume, resulted in a delightful conversation of humble origins but with an interesting twist. Don't be fooled by this clever beast, for your boat has sprung a leak! Oh.... seems as the blocks of wood in my pockets don't float as well as I'd hoped.
I remember first playing this game, when stumbling into someone resulted in sausage, and swords, and free backpacks :O
Where can a simple farmer go to be alone and in peace?

Re: Human contact
I don't know when you first played, but things have changed a lot in the last year to year and a half in play style. Most of the w3 and earlier vets have shelved this game for now because the general thought is that it caters to those that try to hide behind impenetrable walls, excessive numbers of combat alts (so that killing your enemy isn't really a deterrent), and in general bug abusing.
There is some hope, though. Two of the largest factions have teamed up this world to fight the Koreans and others. They have won (for now) and have set a peaceful area. I don't have the forum thread handy, though. You should be able to find it pretty easily in In Congress Assembled, though. Look for the "Ainran-Dis peaceful SG" or something along those lines (or some kind soul might post it up here for you).

Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Re: Human contact
Lol, not every Pole is a troll, but I must admit that 60% are indeed. Beware of barbarians of the east
.
In w5 I found myself in possesion of loot from a clever raider (assasin?) that slipped into my base. The evil pal almost killed me but LS reacted and eventually the result was:
-1 dead raider
-me gaining q90 bronze sword and some stuff worth at least a fistful of pearls
The LS was a pole, maybe the result of this was because i am one too. We were civilizated humble beings (but of course the third Pole ruined everything by raiding random powerful villages...)
