Can you stop blow/slaping your dicks around? I try to run a mod here

Jokes apart, well yes I use pictures of animals for portraits, this isn't new, I said it for the fox, because I don't want to have a strange looking "face" for those ones
I trust Sacre for not being a total dick, he .. is.. just not the diplomatic guy, taken that apart he's right : if ref is used, refs must be revealed

But I have so much to do to finish this mod that I don't want to end abruptly like many others artists who have fallen under the wheel of time and forgotten in the abyss, sometimes I use this ref to help me, inspire me, etc

I don't have anything more to show for now, I'll finish the portraits and the bear animation is next

Don't let him fool you, no one actually cares if you use references and you most definitely don't need to post them on here for us to see.

Daji's Graphic mod - Grizzly animation process

Postby Daji » Sat Apr 14, 2012 12:21 am

You are not wrong Flame, don't worry I'm just afraid of this being just a troll, thanks to answer that kindly
but he/she did a point, my thread lack of informations about how to install my mod, in my mind it was just so clear that I didn't even give the instructions for it

For a change of subjet, I decide to introduce a little how I animate the grizzly/bear

First I remade the humps on the back of the body, then add some legs for basic walk process
Image

After a day I see that something won't fit, the body don't move at all and the walk doesn't have any weight on, so I changed it for a new one, with a mouvement of the head
Image

Added that, I polish the limbs and modified some frames of the body to fit more the muscles and body change
Image

Hope you enjoy, still 4 directions to go

Seems that you have a big problem about colored animations. The color of the legs and the body are differents and all the fur go crazy around...mmhh

I can understand that is..Hard. Serioudsly hard. Maibe, a way to avoid this when you have such a detailed colors, is create a Fur Texture, create the animation just with the borderline, put the texture in it and only AFTER you have all the good animation, you start to add light and shadow on the body, to move pixels around and edit what you think is too static, etc.

Draw from scratch that color style is a pain when animated. People is able to do it, so we have to find.how can we do it. XD

Just for fun, i download the gif and i'll try something.

Btw, tell me if you could teach me you'r color style, i love it. :3

Funny, when I make this argument I got bitched at
