Default camera

Post by Delamore »

Set it to :cam fixed and give us a proper log out button, teaching these concepts to newbies is terrible.

I like :cam boarder for doing stuff in one area, and :cam predict for traveling.

:cam fixed owns because since your position is fixed, for things like paving, planting, harvesting you can just put your cursor on one tile and click repeatedly and go in a nice straight line

I'd suspect if you polled the playerbase the vast majority would prefer using :cam fixed most of the time

not saying the others are useless, but it is the most appropriate default camera

I like the current default because it lets me explore more territory than cam fixed. You can see almost twice as much with the same amount of walking, which means that you'll find more chantrelles etc.

I don't care what's the defualt, however, as long as the client remembers my settings between sessions.
