That's basically what happens*, but you have to wait for him to go offline for the bug to work.

To summarize, if you don't want to die to this bug, you cannot break your hearthfire while you have scents. or someone might just open the summon menu and wait 8 hours for you to log off. You will build your hearthfire again but it will not matter.

Honestly they should just make it that if you don't have a HF and you're offline OR online you can be summoned anywhere.

Man there are so many bugs with the radial menu. Double gates, infinite ram movement, and now summoning anywhere even with a HF. What next?
