I have a question about tamed animals. When you check their info, besides all the different qualities (milk, hide, etc), there are 2 vertical bars, one orange and the other pink, if I'm not mistaken. What do those indicate?
Thanks.

Orange bar on the left: How hungry your animal is. The lower, the hungrier.graal wrote:I have a question about tamed animals. Pink Bar: If you starve your animal, this bar will gradually go down and NEVER raise back up. Always feed your animal, or when this bar lowers, it affects all of those other stats like milk, hide, breeding, etc. You can't see them being affected when you open the info window and look at the numbers, but believe me, they're affected (lower ql milk, lower ql meat, etc)

Probably untrue but does taking a branch or seed or whatever from a growing tree slow its growth or even decrease its quality? I also feel as if that a tree will have a lower quality if it's growth has been stunted at any time, but that's just a feeling.

If you transfer wine from a bucket into a barrel, would it reset the "aging process" of turning into Vinegar?

Re: Please Ask Simple Questions Here
Doesnt explain my concern. I asked how the combat would look in ranged and if my experience means the client or something else is making it so the other bars dont move no matter what I do at ranged combat. The link you posted contains this about ranged combat "7. Range Combat.fanit937 wrote:Haven & Hearth Combat System Guide
Range operates differently from Melee. Instead of the bunh of IP and meters and stuff, you have one meter which charges up which you can release to fire. Here is how you use ranged combat.
1. Equip a Sling (or bow). You'd be surprised how many people actually forget this part.
2. Select Combat > Shoot.
3. Select Target on the screen (or portrait if you already are engaged in combat).
4. Wait till the meter charge. The speed of the charge up is based on your marksman skills capped by 2x the weapon quality..
5. Left click to shoot. The fuller the meter, the better chance you have of hitting.
Note that your attack meter will completely deplete but has no effect on accuracy or damage. Also the target's defense meter has no effect on whether you hit or miss either. However if you and/or the target moves, you will lose charge meter depending how far either of you move and high skilled you are at marksman. "
As well as describing a scale at the top during combat. i do not have any type of scale at all, so the guide seem a bit out dated.
Can anyone here that have done and are doing ranged combat explain what the screen looks like when they hit the target with a stone from a sling or so? maybe even link to a screenshoot or something.

Standing close to a tree (or having any solid object sitting by a tree) when a growth tick hits will stunt its growth. Simply picking branches wont.Agasi wrote:Probably untrue but does taking a branch or seed or whatever from a growing tree slow its growth or even decrease its quality? Shot:

Keep in mind that your weapon and ammunition quality cap your aiming speed, regardless of your marksmanship level. But if you want to shoot anything, you need at least 30 marksmanshit.

Is there anything about how long can the meat and intestines of an animal corpse can last before decaying away?

Re: Please Ask Simple Questions Here
As far as my understanding goes, ranged combat completely ignores the enemy defense bar. Their attack bar depletes when they attack you, and that's why it's unaffected as well when you attack with ranged weapon. On the other hand, your attack bar depletes to prevent people from using ranged attack and then a melee attack right away (for maximum effect). Your ranged damage is not affected by your attack bar, though.Kaldeth wrote:Doesnt explain my concern. Hope that answers your questions, and if I am mistaken about some of my assumptions, please someone correct me.
