Re: Stance on gay rights?
This pseudo-issue on "gay rights" is just a diversion from the important issue of individual rights. Collectivist ideologies sold to you Edward Bernays style, at it again...

I dislike homosexuality.
I support gay marriage in the US.

Anyone who thinks that homosexuals don't deserve the same rights as others should have THEIR rights removed and see how THEY like it. The world is filled with too much ignorance as it is, let's eliminate a bit of it already.

Re: Stance on gay rights?
That's like saying you know what the 'Forefathers' said exactly, and that you can interpret it.Mvpeh wrote:Yes, seriously - when some stupid American Christian redneck says that gays are disgusting and inhuman, and then use the Bible to back this up, it makes me very frustrated. The US Consitution states that it was not built on any religion.
As long as gays aren't openly gay (IE making out in the park), I don't see any problem with them marrying and it causes no difficulties for other straight human beings. It's simply ignorance at its finest in the great country ofAmerica
.
Also, the Declaration states: “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
I think that argument is relatively self-explanatory.
TL;DR
AMERICANS CAN'T FOLLOW THEIR FOREFATHER'S GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS
Blacks weren't included in that, Gay's weren't even considered in it, nor were any other race than White. Because you know why? It was a white country, blacks were slaves, gay's didn't exist, and the constitution was written for this situation, not whatever situation we have now.
That's why 'The Constitution' can't be followed, because it's not written directly for any instructions today, so our corrupt government has to 'interpret' to their best what should be done, and that's basically adding a bunch of bullshit to cushion what the hell is happening right now.
No, I don't like gays, No I don't like other races.
Am I a Hitler? No.
There's just enough hate against Nations, Races, Gender proficiencies, and guts to allow me to say that, because I fucking can. I'd be completely fine with walking up to one of the two, and saying I don't like you. because I don't. But that's not saying i'm a bad person, that's just saying that the impressions I have had from them are bad, so I respond to them badly.
Can we get along though? No, has anyone ever gotten along, even within their same genders, colors, etc.?
No. This thread is pointless though, everyones going to have a different opinion, and everyones wrong but me, right? Because everyones stubborn, including me, right?
People don't hate gay's because they're gay, they hate them because of their expressions, they're opinions, and the way they SHOW they're gay. People don't hate black people because they're black, they hate them because of their expressions, they're opinions, and the way they SHOW they're black. It's as simple as that, we have these 'stances' on each other because we were MADE to have racist and malevolent thoughts and feelings about certain things and people based on impressions and impressions had by others.
Glad i'm moving there ^_^TeckXKnight wrote:You'd enjoy Norway then. They have laws against public displays such as that. I'm not sure what the penalty is for breaking them, probably just a small fine or slap on the wrist, but it still discourages that behavior.UberGamerLeeway wrote:"As long as gays aren't openly gay (IE making out in the park)" I don't see anything wrong with this, I have to be around obnoxious people making out on the bus and shit, doesn't matter if their gay or straight its still obnoxious

Think about it, how many gay people were there in the 1700's? Lol.painhertz wrote:"gay's didn't exist" Gays have always existed..... Are you daft? Even the animal kingdom had homosexuality... Are "animals" making a choice?
Your ability to insult people even with a moderator position is uncanny, how extremely relevant this is to the post hm? Hypocrit.TeckXKnight wrote:Your ability to be inane is uncanny.Neon14 wrote:words

Roughly 5% of the population. 300 years is not a significant enough period of time to sway a statistical average like that.Neon14 wrote:Think about it, how many gay people were there in the 1700's?
