JooJoo wrong the entire thread, the main reason people from Dis would want to befriend Amanda is she has been targeted by people we want to kill. It's not like people from Winterfell or AD are showing up at are walls trying to cause trouble, but they do this to other people. That's the biggest benefit to net working with people outside of the faction, is just for the opportunity to show up and try and kill some of these people.
