Cant get Ender`s Client to work

I have tried absolutely everything to get this to work, ive played before many times and had no problem with it, i just bought a new pc and when i run the run.bat file a black bo pops up then nothing else happends.....if anyone has had the same probably and knows whats wrong and how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Read the instructions on editing run.bat in ender's thread.
You have to specify where javaw is

edit: also you need to have java...

yeah, i got it working now but i cant log in, it keeps saying connection timed out connect and my internet connection is fine!

go to java console network settings, try with direct connection
