Please crash World 6 already. I agree with many players on this. The world looks very messy and the same 2 F'ers keep running around killing me and everyone else just because they have like eternal LP and stat power and no one can catch up. I see endless claims destroyed all over the world map and no one to build large organized cities with. I personally have tried making as many as 7 nice communitiy cities for players to run into but those 2 F****ers just keep destroying and killing. We need a NEW WORLD. We need you to also increase LP of Murder to 500,00 or more and 30 days player protection. It's impossible to accomplish anything when you have Nazis runnig around causing havoc and have no sense of humanity.

Wow! What a BUTTHURT! People, i played this game since the starts of W5 and it is all like the same. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE OVERPOWERED SICK-MINDED NOLIFERS WITH BILLIONS OF LP, no f*cking world wipe could change this, no f*cking "character protection". Either you restrict PVP or you create some NPC-police bullshit to prevent this, but, thank god, neither of those will happen here, cause that's not the style of the game, lol. So you girls stop whining and either learn how to trick your raiders or drown yourself in a lake.
Stop requesting character wipes or map resets. They will only ever be introduced alongside major developments and there are no signs of those developments happening anytime soon. You have no say in the matter.

Server up but much more laggy than before. Hopefully Loftar's new app will help locate the source of the lag. VERY LAGGY.
As for all the World 7 chatter, might as well add my $0.02 to the mix. I started playing this game at the end of last year. World 6 had been established for quite some time and I was 'behind'. Not a big deal. Got to learn the game as a hermit, died to a bear, died to a couple of griefers a few times, learned my lessons and still love to play. Still play as a hermit too.
I'm on friendly terms with some of the 'big bad folks'. I've helped several communities and aided a new village while it was getting started. I don't steal or grief others. I run a small hermitage but it provides for all of my needs and I slowly work on increasing the q of my goods. That said, I've got q100+ trees, a working iron mine, a stone mansion for storage, most of the animals (getting pigs shortly), and I don't lack food or curios. I'm not competition for an established village but I make it a point not to be. Since I don't blip on their radar I'm fine. The little bit of trouble I have had I've been able to take care of by calling on 'the big guns' to come bail me out. Nothing has been given to me and I've built everything with my own two hands. So stop whining.
If anything, since Salem, World 6 has a post-apocalyptic feel to it. Abandoned villages ripe for plundering (not even claims left... just wide open) and skeletons of failed groups everywhere. I think it gives a distinct feel to the game that would not be there in a restart.
Maybe YOU need to restart. Find a fresh place away from the politics and drama you've been having. Get your hands dirty and build something. As long as you don't pretend to be something more than you are (and piss off the folks with unlimited LP and stats) you may enjoy playing the game for what it is.
For some reason, the upgrade seems to have wasted I/O performance completely (as if it weren't bad enough before).
My initial thought is to blame the kernel in Debian 6.0, because I started experiencing similar problem on my own home server after having upgraded it to the same kernel. I will try the kernel from Testing, but need to reboot again for that.
