There's lag because 300 people hopped on at once, once people start logging off it will get better

Re: Planned downtime: OS upgrade
was the problem occur from OS upgrade?
It was not laggy before upgrade OS I think.
I really want to play well. It makes me crazy.
I think it has pattern. It's okay in 5 secs, and lag 10secs.
my mental is breaking now.. :<

from what i see: the client is uploading constantly, while it's not receiving constantly but in chunks. So it's like receiving 15 seconds, then no KB for the same time (Char goes Riverdance or back to where he started to walk while receiving Data) ), getting a chunk of data again and so on...

Re: Planned downtime: OS upgrade
Right now the lag is the worst I've ever experienced. It took me like 5 minutes to switch out my curios and eat some food.
Edit: I think that was a client-side issue, it's improved now. I think t's about the same as yesterday.

Loftar, have you tried profiling the kernel? It might give some indication of where the time is going when it lags.
