No ,turn map into big isles and continents, and make more types of boats. Perhaps it would be cool if there was a type of water passable only by a big expensive vessel. I remember when I once spawned on an isle I couldn't leave for days and days. (of course I was a newb by then, so I didn't get Ender and even hunting rabbits were problem to me then not to mention boats that require bone saws)
Once I finally made a boat I had great fun over exploration and mapping terrain (to find myself on the world map).

Re: Smaller amounts of water & more expensive boats
The term you want is being a "back-seat moderator". As for the topic, I say nay. Having less "water" would mean even more carrying of the boat to get across land to reach a river you couldn't drive to. In W3, we started on a mass road system. The problem was, once you hit a river, you obviously can't cross it in a wagon, unless you break out the raft. A fix for this, would be to implement some sort of bridge system.FictionRyu wrote:I get people giving me flac for 'acting' like a mod.
