Able to play HnH?

Postby ssoalreaver » Thu Jun 21, 2012 9:03 pm

I've been stuck at 10 fps for a very long time, so I'm (hopefully) going to buy a new laptop tommorow. I mainly play HnH, so I was wondering.

Could I run HnH smoothly with these specs?

Intel Core i5-3210M 2,3 GHZ, boostable to 3.3 GHZ
8GB Ram
GeForce GT 630M 2GB

I heard there were some problems with Nvidia cards, so I would like to know if I could play good with those specs.

Wow that should be more than enough.

I'm playing with a:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1045T Processor (6 CPUs), ~2.7GHz x 8 GB RAM x ATI Radeon HD 4250.

And I can run the game fine over 2 monitors at 60 FPS. (Even records in HD gracefully.) With your setup, you'll be able to run most games just fine.

Finally bought the laptop, let's see if I can really play on 60 fps (hopefully I can)

1. It shouldn't be using the on-board video if you have an add-on card. Send it back. It wasn't configured properly.

2. Processor speed is king for Java applets.

There is no problem with the laptop. I had to enable nvidia in the configuration. Running on about 55 fps now.
