More types of food sound good to me.

Being able to use more types of crops for decent foods would be pretty neat.

Hell, could even use sausages in the recipes. Slice up one and make 2 or 3 sandwiches with it. Maybe gives less of a FEP bonus that the sausage itself, or adds another type of FEP to it along with the ones from the sausage.

Could do a bunch of stuff with that idea really.

Sauces for what exactly, like Ketchup and Mustard, or something else?

Mayonnaise seems possible. Not sure about ketchup and mustard, you'd need tomato and mustard plants.

Actually what would be most awesome to have more would be more powerful beasts like trolls. Currently there are already few dozen people that are able to slay most powerful troll by themselves. A little offtop, yeah, but since we were up to "more" stuff...

Ideally I'm really a big fan of cooking mainly because I love to bake and cook irl, it's just a hobby. I think adding lots of new ideas to cooking would be great, along with possibly adding new ingredients to bake with. The game seems to lack chocolate, which would let me fufill my dream: bark brownies (harhar).
