The notion that they can still be friends and it's just a game don't really line up with their relationship. The major element (probably also the only one) which made them friends to begin with was their mutual liking for this game. Outside of Haven and Hearth, they don't share many common interests which they actively engage in together.

If you had an extreme passion for Monopoly, and you became friends with someone else over this, if he smashed your limited edition expensive collector's copy of Monopoly out of pure spite, there is issues with being able to remain friends since the conflict happened over the only thing you had in common with this fellow.

Granted I think this whole thing is just echoing two small children waging a campaign against each other simply because one said Spiderman is cooler than Batman.

Wait... the reason for the conflict is that we
litterally could not kill anyone because they
were allies with everyone... even Winterfell
(Members of villages that Dis was allies with
would raid alongside Winterfell, therefore we
couldn't kill either of them without offending
the Dis) Whereas people we thought were
decent were becoming targets... even when
LadyGoo told Dis to not attack members of
Purgatario without a reason, Ravian knowingly
chased them with the intent to kill, all the way
back to their walls, then got people to come
and shoot at them / yell at them.

That was the first time i almost ported over
to kill Ravian, or really, at that time, just pants.

Valten soon became outlawed from coming any-
where near dis, and thus was unable to play with
the rest of Ainran... and we don't really leave a
single one of our guys behind, especially not a
friend like Valten. Valten slowly got pushed even
further and further away from the group due to
out of game events that had little to do with his
in game actions.

The breaking off was not pre-meditated, we
were only hunting allies of Winterfell (Racezor
and Strip from SSUT) and Ravian intervened,
crying for help and annoying mark to the point
we all chose to do it. We appeared, only planning
to kill Ravian and leave, but decided we were in
too deep as the info to the accounts had been
changed, and killed Fobia as well in a 4v4 situation.

They ran, we lost all respect for them, and so it
has begun. The break wont be repaired, but it
is not QUITE as you say, Apoc, for there are elements
to the alliance that were entirely out of game
that may have strongly influenced the turn of events.
