i think we should make deeds in the game.
this way we can pass off land that we dont want.
there would be no LP transfer if you declaim it
if someone wants to give there land over for what ever reason, they should be able to make parchment and get ink and make themselfs a deed.
i think this would get rid of alot of abandoned claims ares.
also you can make it so a lawspeaker can make the deed to any claim in there village, this way one can just take over a abandoned claim in there areas.
well let me know what you guys all think

Re: deeds
yes open the game for more blackmailing
"gimme that deed or i kill you"
And the problem with abandoned claims is just that often the owners quit from one day to the other ...
while i like to read any good idea about solutions to the abandoned claim prob i guess deeds system would be unfortunate (missuse factor) also it would be a bit hard to implement in the db as there is the owner of claim and the owner of deed...
lokking forward to see more opinions on this

Re: deeds
Sounds like it doesn't fully solve the problem, and is abusable.
When people quit suddenly chances are they don't have the intention of passing off their deed.
The abusable part is in how the lawspeaker can obtain any deed within the village's influence. Lawspeakers already have a way to remove personal claims, and it has a fitting price so that it is exceptionally far from being abusable, this however does not.
To me, does not solve a problem and creates more problems.
