Also also, why were you in dodge for the whole fight even when you were hit with the first movement punch? Switch to oak and kite around, thunder and get some defense back. You can kite forever in forest terrain in a 1v1 so long as your water lasts If you take long clicks instead of short ones like you were doing you'll be able to hover sting over their portrait for a better chance at catching them slipping up. Another thing is when you're both at a standoff behind an object it's best to run backwards first and then que a move forwards again towards them instead of moving from behind it without a move qued to get around. Another good trick is that when you get to the corner of an object and you both have used a move so that you're both standing right beside it, if you use a move again on them it will be used through the object, the same as if you were fighting through a wall. This usually happens when you clip someone off of a barrel/chest etc. By running in and flexing/skulding etc and then backing off you're able to get off some moves/replenish your bars without them getting anything in during your cool-down.
