If you have the basic knowledge you can start off PvP'ing almost immediately. The thing that EVE does right in this regard is that a new player always have a chance of taking out other players that have played the game for years, it all depends on circumstances. As I said before however, the main drawback that keeps many from doing so is simply because of the lack of knowledge which cannot be learned overnight.

Haven and Salem fails horribly in this regard, which is why I believe that Salem will never kick off in the mainstream and will become just as niched and low-populated as Haven. The gap between old and new players in these games get huge in an extremely short amount of time and there's absolutely nothing a new player can do to stand up to old players if they're attacked. Not exactly a good selling point to the majority of gamers. Circumstances does not matter as the outcome will always be the same. The concept is of course flawless and extremely refreshing, but the execution is far from the ideal. It does not take into account causality versus hardcore gaming whatsoever, and it also has a progression system where long term players can be hundreds of times stronger than new players - in a full PvP focused world with permanent death.

Kinda a shame that the game limits itself to this degree cause the concept itself is something that the stale gaming world desperately needs.
I've seen 30 UA players kill others with 150+ UA. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Of course you have. I'm sure you can link me a few videos on youtube of it as well.

I don't have to link shit. Why don't YOU search the forums. I'm sure you'll find a few examples here.

Sorry, mad bro. I feel a bit too lazy to do something that bothersome.

However I am in a generous mood so let me give you a bit of advice. Beat a pillow and get rid of that pent-up rage before you pop a vein or two.

Unbeatable defense: you look like a dumbass because you're "too lazy" to look shit up, so you accuse me of being mad. Touche. ;)

Its just the way I come across man. Quit being a puss.

Well, since we are on it. I was talking about Path of Exile. For those who don't know it is considered the legitimate successor of Diablo 2 by many, because we all know D3 is utter shit.

This weekend it will have a public stresstest weekend. So free to play for anyone. Other than that it is in closed beta right now, but you can buy yourself access for 10 bucks (and will get that converted into shop currency as well) and I can say it is well worth it.

Playing the same thing over and over is a part of action rpgs I guess and the randomized end game maps similar to what Torchlight had give enough diversity imo, not to mention the one million possible and viable character builds.

If it weren't for "movement combat", it wouldn't be so easy in 1v1. Multiple lower level characters can certainly kill a more powerful character (like a W3 "titan") if they have a clue, though.

I might do that, depending on how large the client is.

I found a game called FTL Faster Than Light on steam and it will be released after tommrow!
Its a space ship game that you battle other space ships and you have a crew and you have to controll them and repair stuff with them.
I kinda dont like its becuase of its limits like you can only fight 1 ship at a time :c.

But still its a realistic and it has permadeath (i think because the game dident even come out yet).
