Annoying logging/loading in to world bug

Hi all

lately I've been having issues logging in with some alts.

I press the log in button for both "where i last logged out" and "at my hearth fire" at for some alts it keeps crashing.

I can see the alt appear in the world and half of the screen is loaded (most times), i can hear music, see part of the mini map etc but I can not move at all. I have to close via clicking the red X on top right corner.

This is annoying as it leaves my alts vulnerable as they are still in game for a period of time and the fact that it happens several times in a row making it sometimes impossible to use that alt.

Anyone know why this is and a fix for it?

Are you using Enders client? Only thing I can suggest is deleting the belt.conf file for that character that keeps crashing.

Sorry, yes I am using Enders...not sure which version though

Would that delete/alter my alt at all?

No it will not. I have had to do it often.

but...stupid question...would the game not just make a new belt file and repeat the problem?

Deleting or editing anything in the client folder will have no direct effect on the character since its only a client for the game.

It will be in the Ender folder called something like belts_My_Alt. CONF file

The files become 'corrupt' for what ever reason that is, I am not sure. But it might happen again, Only thing you can do is delete the file and replace the belts when you log in, If that's your problem that is.
