Microwave butter melting

This is how our two best butter-meltings have looked.

The left one is quite obvious.
The right one had a bubbling pool at the top, with the bottom steadily melting away,
lowering the whole thing. It was mesmerizing.



Edit: Popcorn. That is why we do it.

Kaka, shove popcorn kernels in a piece of butter then microwave it. Do it.
