How has Haven & Hearth evolved over the past two years?

Post by Zaeph »

Hello everyone.

Firstly, I must say that I am quite happy to see that H&H is still standing after all this time. As the title suggests, I've been playing for an extended period of time two years ago. I don't actually remember in which world we were back then, but I remember leaving a month before the beginning of a new one. I wasn't particularly active with the community, so it's unlikely that you remember someone named Archer.
Anyway, I would have wanted to ask you a few question about how the game is nowadays, as I suppose there has been some changes. I was a huge fan of the entire farming aspect of the game, I remember harvesting humongous crops and watching the quality slowly increase over the time. There weren't actually many other things to do back in the old days as all the mines had been claimed by various communities, and that made the trading quite interesting. Is it still as interesting now?

Thank you.

Lag/glitches/bugs. Thats what this game is now. The devs are too busy circle jerking each other over salem to fix anything on this game. I still find it fun to play but not many other people do.

Lags and a few game breaking game mechanics that doesn't seem to get there attention. Wall jump glitches, bugrams and stachuing of entire villages.

Besides the lag, unfixed bugs, bot usage it's still fun!

OP - It looks like you started in W3...

Well... Thank you for the insights. I guess I'll just have to move on.

even with the lag and bugs HnH is still better than Salem...that said I haven't been playing either lately, I've just been lurking here on the forums.

(incoming restatements)
i think you mean devolved, in my opinion the game has slowly been getting shittier sine W3 ended, it only came to a head when the lag hit. if this game is going to survive and grow, which i really hope it doesnt grow much, then its going to need to get fixed.

now, evolving. beside from the curio system being forced in i dont think this game has actually changed too much, its just its playability has gone down the shitter
i really need to find a good signature
