I know, all is dead from lag anyway.

But I was JUST walking into my house to take my trees off the table when the server crashed. This is why I hate doing trees, clearly

lol, I know exactly how you feel, only difference is with me it's always silk eggs, guaranteed server will restart when i am asleep or can't get back on due to work commitments - i've lost count at the number of eggs i've lost this way.

The server always seems to crash right before i'm about to do my last tame on an animal...

This is why I hate taming so much, i've lost so many due to crashes -.-

It's a shame the dev's have let this game die.. There was nothing stopping them from recruiting, instead they just picked salem over HnH. Other than money i'll never understand why. I tried salem out in the beta, was the worst thing i've ever played...

To think they have given up on this game is a false notion. Any great game in history has been shelved before having its breakthrough edition. Diablo was first on the PS1, it expanded to PC. Blizzard didn't do nothing with it for a couple of years and look...the second update to Diablo 3 is being developed now. World of Warcraft was a late 90's game when it started, it was shelved a few years and reborn to a gigantic success. Ultima Online has been shelved to a certain extent for some time now and they are about to update it to today's technologies. Long story short, do not give up on a game just because it has gone upon the wayside. This is the pride and joy of all the games they have created, you can tell by the level of detail that's gone into it. Give them time to finish the contract for Salem and they will return to this game.

Amanda - I don't dare do silk at all! My brother left two cupboards of silk eggs when he quit, and they are still there while I go buying silk items at high prices, because I'm so certain I'll waste them. And now I'm going to go pretty much afk again so I probably won't get the trees sorted after all - the plan was to sort out the whole lot today and let all the new batch grow while I was away. Oh well....

How long does it usually take before the server is up again after a (hopefully) regular crash? Hoping they will not need to replace the HDD again...

I was thinking of ways i could help, like oathing me over to take care of it while you are away - then realised ofc we can't, server down, lol. I have gone back to q10 eggs 4 times this world due to crashes, rl and i admit, forgetting them, lol, but luckily tables and leaves raise them up again pretty quick.
My sympathies are with you in regard to the tree's
