Game Client modified by Ender

minimap in simple mode because it seems the server hasn't build up the minimap yet / or isn't delivering
you got latest Ender
Changing back to Java 6 is senseless as there will be no Security fixes/updates for it anymore (EOL) - i'd better rename Ender folder - DL again + update and try to enable show animals with that clean Ender

For a while now, I have had problems with Ender's, where every time I log in, my game experiences severe FPS lag for several minutes before (usually) letting up. I get 55 fps fully zoomed out in the wilderness, but this lag reduces it to 2.

I've figured out that the two files causing this for me are simpled.res and simpleu.res files in the recent update, under res > gfx > hud > buttons

Anyone want to help me figure this out?

How do you figure its those two Ender specific res files that are causing the problem on your end ?
(those res files are map-window icons: Normal/default map view" & "Simple map view".)

It sound to me that there might be something wrong with your computer hardware configuration. I'm not sure about what that might be though.

did a fast binary compare of both files from last update and from the one before - they are the same

After server restart i had a bit of stop and go too - (minimap (full view) was already loaded) - but after 15-20 minutes it was "normal" again...

The files don't exist in the non-updated download of the client.

I have new win 8-64 bit laptop and i can't play. Installed 64 and 32 bit java but game doesn't start. And i miss playing HnH.

i compared version 58 (06.04.12 - update.zip) and 56 (02.04.12)

the dl version is dated 04.08.11 - v41 ( ?) ...

the files seem to be from 12.12.11 update

* added button to minimap panel to toggle map drawing between normal and simple
* added tooltips for minimap panel buttons

did you dl from mediafire or oddi ?
