New players, Questions about the game world.

Hey all, so me and a group of new players have been playing for a few weeks and I have a few questions about the ingame world.

1. are there any major still functioning empires / cities / factions in the game ?

2. I notice W6 has been running for a long time are new worlds created based on new patches / updates or due to the map being too overdeveloped ?


3. What is DIS ? , what is Nova Hoota ?, what is the Polish horde ? do any of these still exist or are they dead cities ?

4. what would be a brief history of W6 ?

When you start actively seeking out, or knowing about the factions, you'll notice how much more often you die. My advice is to be a cute little noobie for a few more months

2. The devs are working on some other game right now. They'll update and reset this one when they're done with the other one.

I am trying to keep a low profile, but also trying to figure out who I should look out for and run away from ( so far everyone ).

There is only one worth mentioning, The cheating faction, Autistic Dipshits (AD for short)

Due to new patches, where the game is significantly changed, or to server crashes.

DIS -dead, Nova Hoota - No Idea, PH - still exists

Ainran and DIS were allied, and fucking shit up, DIS created a safe zone for newbies, and a free trading area
Winterfell ad AD were allied

Then DIS and Winterfell were allied, and Ainran and AD were allied
Then everybody quit
