After 2 years not playing HnH (thanks for nuking my village, old server) i returned to the game.
And i find it rather exciting.
The world is in post-apocalyptic stage - there are lots of abandoned villages, old inactive claims, some newborn stalkers trying to survive in the world salvaging items from lost civilizations...
...And monster mutants in dragon helmets who can bash the walls and houses with their bare hands.

Re: Post apocalyptic world 6
when you look back and remember. H&H suddenly becoming grand theft wagon, the army of alts stalking your village, acting dumper then a box of rocks just to spy on you. Being beggars to draw away small bits of resources to slow you down, that guy demanding a sword now (slowing a brick wall from being started just long enough to being raided.
When you went to something you quite 4 years ago do to lag since its not as deadly to you, the lag was just a pain.
A year or two makes a difference, to see it in such a state is thrilling, when you remember you wear even on of the first people to walk onto the world. Back again like a Phoenix. The world is a mess what better time to be safe on your own...

The new dystopian post apocalyptic setting has caused me to refer to this world as "The Hearth Wasteland".
I should really play more.

I enjoy it.
In this post apocalyptic world, there are some who survived the lagiclysm. We rode it out and did our best to maintain during the worst of it. Eventually, the darkness fell. Raiders plundered the best of what we had stored up...
But the walls were easily mended. Mine holes covered. We were left with enough to rebuild at nearly the same production level. Production items were not destroyed.
A brick wall sprung up the size of a mini-map and now the small camp behind a palisade is spreading out in the safe zone. Chickens are gaining q quickly, a few animals have been tamed...
Civilization will once again come to Haven.
