I tried twitch-hunting, but it seems that you get a much better damage output if you shoot 2-3 full seconds after the creature twitches.

Using a Q 20 sling and 40 mm to hunt a boar, I shot immediately after it twitched but it only did 20-30 damage. I repeated this until it died, each time with similar results.
Later with the same stats I hunted a second boar by shooting 2 seconds after it twitched. This did 42-55 damage each time until it ran away.
Finally, on the 3rd boar I shot it once after it twitched, doing about 20 damage. Then I shot it 3 seconds after it twitched, for a whopping 62 damage.

Can someone confirm this, or is it just me? Am I somehow doing it wrong?

Make sure it's true, for example running 20 tests or even 100 tests to confirm this. For me it has no special benefits because i oneshot a deer with my q300 sling anyway

Damage is ONLY affected by weapon and ammo quality, and perception.

Maybe the animal makes an agility check every time he twitches, or something. I really have no idea, but it seems to work for me. Maybe it's just chance

Actually Ive found it depends on the animal. Some do more damage as they twitch other a bit after.

Is Polan Horde active? I've stumbled upon that place on my noob hermit alt and i'm quite scared of that.
It's also out of authority, so i guess they aren't playing?

If you mean cupboards, yes but they can only be lifted when empty.

When using black pepper on food do you get some visual sign that it was "peppered"? Cause I sprinkle the pepper but nothing seems to happen, not even the FEP values on Ender's client change. Is it because I am using a graphics mod?

No, it's normal.

No, it's normal.

No you won't get a visual sign but it won't let you sprinkle more than 1 time on a food. If you check the amount left in pepper shaker try and sprinkle and it doesn't go down, You've already peppered that one.
