Yolan, I approve of the OP update...

The part about mineholes doesn't really make sense though underground is equally as publicly accessible as the streets.

Except people would need to mine through to you where you are. It won't stop people if they are determined to rob you, but for people who can't afford a bwall its another option.

I've not logged on to my Brodgar char since the boar incident, it doesn't seem to be a very 'fun' place to live, even though you all say it is, lol, it just seems to be the murder and crime capital of the world.

I prefer the quiet and peaceful countryside retreat that is my village.

Maybe I should start offering holidays to the stressed Brodgarians, there's fishing, a near by lake for sailing or swimming, or even just relaxing in the many beautiful gardens.

Talking about the security/status of the town is relevant information or people wishing to join however. I have changed the title of this thread in any case.

Speaking of town security, things have taken a positive turn in recent days with our fearless leaders (who shall go unnamed) replacing our crossroads and getting a bit of armed help. Work has also gone forth on clearing away annoying hearth fires from roads and expanding village influence.

If you are thinking of immigrating to Brodgar, now is not a bad time. Your chances of being randomly slaughtered on a given day about town are probably lower than they have been in weeks.
