Salem: 0 \ Haven: 1

Post by Vigilance »

It was a long wait of two years, but golly gee, looks like even Paradox won't touch their game anymore.

I'd hate to say I told you so? But welcome back to the prodigal son. We've missed you guys. LONG LIVE HAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!

Props to Jorb and Loftar for trying something new, BUT, we waited here in this abandoned forum for almost two years for this day and in no way am I sad to say I am glad to see Haven and Hearth, the greatest game in video gaming history win the "Seatribe Cola Wars".

The taste test is in and Haven has beaten Salem 1300 online to 150 online. Bring on Haven 2.0!!!!!!!

Yeah, it was way too cartoony to sell to anyone. If they want anyone to take their game seriously, make it look serious.

i don't think that's the problem. its just that Salem is well, crafting mmo... and it's not unique. HnH is very unique. complete freedom. no safe zones. just pure wild simulation.

Hm, sorry to hear it guys. Well, unless you are happy about this ^^

I know you never liked working for the "man", so at least that responsibility is gone. Gotta earn money from something though :/

I hope you take the opportunity and turn HnH into something amazing, because I still believe in the potential of this game being a big opportunity (not only financially) very much.

Also add in the things that are a large part of the theme.

There was no witch craft at all, and only two spooky dark creatures.

I think there will be people appreciative enough after thier two year absence to make it worth their while. I didn't nor would have ever dropped a cent on Salem.
