What's sand worth?

sand is a pretty rare terrain type, so overlapping with a soil quality node is less likely...

IIRC sand uses clay quality map.

That would explain why the 3 sand nodes I found (Best one being Q27 on edge already claimed) all overlapped clay nodes. I was starting to get suspicious about it.

lol yea I know if you ever see sand over q10 theres usually a clay node, even if it is crap quality...but with clay nodes being rarer than soil nodes, getting a rare sand terrain near a clay node so you get quality is pretty rare so the basics of what I said stand

still late game when you have your super quality bone clay kiln the q10 sand from start room is fine so it isn't that big of a deal...

@Nooby 2 ways to deal with HFs:
1(the right way)break the HF drink water eat and boost stats
2(the easy way)give the guy a dream and let him build his hf away from your area

Sand's biggest worth is probably the sand castle curiosity. Which isn't all that great. Other than that, any quality sand works fine for glass.

q76 soil isn't half bad. I mean, it's not q100+ but it's a great start and most soil nodes that you find are in the q40 area. q43 sand is also pretty decent and will get you nice monocles. Closan per request.
