Call down the Thunder is a gimmick to increase low stat high skill people's chance to beat high stat low skill people. Jorb tried to shift this function from movement hits to static combat (flex nerf cut in half the ability to press 2 buttons and win because of stats). I don't think anyone yet knows if it was sufficient.

We should take time to realize the ramifications of the new changes before we judge them or make more changes.

lolno combat is so bad now just wait for it in late world when you run into an enemy or something and they will endlessly run if you're outnumbered you cant do anything but run how are you going too kill 3+ people at once just sitting there tanking them all. smartest thing you can do now is just carry hunger food and a ton of water when your alone. but 1v1 fights will still be great and even numbered fights will be good still

If you get attacked midchannel, it cancels.

it would make it 100% useless in combat, the idea of making it for "animal only" would work a little better.

Either way makes it work on animals only according to you, except it would leave some space open for it to be used in PvP anyway, given the chance. I don't see the problem.
