The Scabbard
Equippable. Put sword in it. Wear it. Instantly wear your sword and drop anethin from your hands to inventory if engaged in a fight. Lets give a rebirth to this neat idea. Clangy sound when using the scabbard would be highly appreciated.

instead of a sheath(swords only) why not a belt loop that allows you to hold any weapon

yes I have. have you ever seen a viking carrying an axe in the little ring on their belt? don't forget a stone axe is also a weapon, and we're all hoping to see a larger variety of weapons added to the game at some point in time.
