Sorry sweetie, but I'd prefer not to see this everywhere I go. Hearing about brony and furfag 'lifestyle choices' makes me want to punch babies and shit.
(I'm pretty sure pic related is a dude.)
Not to mention statistics say over 80% of these bronies are white unemployed chunky men who happen to avoid social contact and a good percentage of them has never been in a relationship with a female.
Yeah, totally not gay propaganda.
I don't have an issue if you like ponies. I don't have an issue if you masturbate to anthropomorphic creatures. What I do take issue with is simple; The fact that people choose these things to be their defining traits, and you just have to accept it. They express no other interest than this one specific niche, and if you don't like it, well too bad! You have to like it! It's great? Know why? Because I'm going to make you think it's great! Perhaps if I spam it around enough people will love it, and then it will become their main, defining interest, and then there will be more people like me.
I believe the "Brony" and "Furry" communities are a hivemind of lonely sadsacks, who simply want to belong to something greater. And while that's fine, they stick their annoying interests and perversions down other peoples throats. Generally, everyone's got at least a little bit of swirl in their vanilla, and that's fine! It's to be expected, it's part of being human. However, it's generally considered polite to keep that to yourself. I don't care if you think you're a Leopard Spotted Dragon Otherkin Wolf spirit, you look every bit as fleshy and not dragonlike to me. Do you have anything else going on in your life besides your one main obsession? Be it a children's show, a fetish, a perversion of nature that has trapped you in this damned ugly Meat Suit? No? Then go away. To me, you're nothing but text, you're another person, somewhere out there, sure, but so are a lot of other people (And some robots) on the Internet. I'm not going to validate your existence simply because you want to obsess over this one little aspect of your miserable lives, and force it down everyone else's throat, everywhere you go, no matter what. It's great that you have something you love, there's places for people like you, but it's not here.
Yes, I am a Wizard.

If common sense was rewarded in cocaine, you'd be Charlie Sheen.
hmm, unlike most I have the ability to see past the insults and hate and read the real message you're trying to send.
I agree it can take over your life if you let it, just like anything. No one thing should rule all of your thoughts and actions. How would I feel if 7 Star Wars spam accounts suddenly flooded a pony thread? (Well I have a sense of humor, I'd play along) but I can see where it might annoy others.
Discovering Bronydom was something I wanted to share with everyone! All the music, songs, animations, videos, fan fictions, flash games, IRL conventions, fan art, radio dramas, and fan merch both original and remixes. (almost all having no sexual references btw. Not everything in this world has to be about sex)
But I know that not everyone is interested, As a comparison I have a friend who wants me to join WoW and i just don't want to.
He tells me about the summer sale and the free starter pack and I just don't feel like it. I'm not interested.
I understand your frustration and I'm sorry.
As a response this is what annoys me the most; Why do so many people assume everything is a fetish? Its like people have this thought "If you like something I don't it must be because you jack off to it" and thats an utterly ridiculous thought.
My friend loves to play WoW, does that mean he jacks off to it? No. Its just something he likes to do.
Does r34 and ERP of WoW exist? Of course it does everything has r34, no exceptions, whether it has a fan base or not. If NO men watched MLP there would still be R34 of it. Even if the number of Bronies that ever existed were 0.
I hate that everything is assumed to be about sex. "Oh you play Neopets? you must be a pedo." Well it could be that...or, just maybe, he wants to play Neopets. It is perfectly ok to like something and enjoy it without it being about jacking off, or a fetish.
