Sometimes to stop people from cheating or griefing, the admin simply needs to have a bigger E-peen and ban until they give up. A bit blunt but thats the way it is.

You should read the forums more, devs have stated they don't want to waste time policing the game.

I think we're addressing two different kind of alts. Alts as in having a second character because your first one is a full crafter and you want a miner on the side is fine. As far as I can tell, this thread is meant to address altspam used to block rams and walls and to lock in characters during fights. That's the only reason a limiter on massive alt-spawns would be relevant.

I thought that we are talking about manufactured functional alt and not corpse wall although both have a tendency to break the game to a path where it is not intended to go.
