[Solved] Issues with Mac OSX 10.8.4

If this topic is in the wrong section, apologies and feel free to move it elsewhere.

I downloaded Java 7 for Mac OSX, and it opens the file when I press the "play" icon after registration. However, when the file runs, sound can be heard (intro music I assume) but a blank image appears on the window.

I'd really like to give this game a try, and I can only access it for the moment on my macbook (I have a PC for gaming, so I'll try to play the game tomorrow on it).

Anything I need to do? Anything I did wrong? The help is appreciated.

problem is java 7, use java 6. Java 7 doesnt have the required JOGL files i think :/

Can't seem to find Java 6 for my macbook's version. I'll just install everything correctly on my PC later. Must wait a while, for now. XD

if you play the default version (web play button) jogl and gluegen gets downloaded anyway

Jogl and Gluegen libaries for custom clients like Ender you prolly need to get seperate from this all platforms package:
http://jogamp.org/deployment/jogamp-cur ... atforms.7z
copy the appropriate ones into Ender folder (windows ones already in Ender)

make sure your graphic drivers on your macbook are uptodate

Neither Java 6 nor 7 has them - for default client they get downloaded /steered by jnlp - Ender and some other clients have windows versions "build in" - for mac and linux you'll need to DL yourself (or with package manager) and drop into Ender folder...

Thanks, I resolved it. Just downloaded the Ender client for PC. And I can't stop playing now, hahahaha.
