I was one of those who started playing when I first saw it by Paulsoaresjr and yes, I agree most new players leave again pretty quick, thoguh it actually throws a handful of new people into the game who stick around.hazzor wrote:you do realize the same thing happened when paulsoaresjr made a video, population spikes, they all realize the game isn't easy and fuck off real quick, it's not as big a deal as you think

One thing some people are missing: while this is an increase in new players, haven always get a steady trickle of newbs from word of mouth. It's why the game's still alive.

You're presuming people read every post made. I most certainly don't XDNOOBY93 wrote:TeckXKnight wrote: There are usually a healthy handful that stick though so it's not a terrible thing.Am I the only one who thinks people repeat each other if the answer is correct just for the reputation?Sevenless wrote:One thing some people are missing: while this is an increase in new players, haven always get a steady trickle of newbs from word of mouth. Besides which: Techx was talking about people who come in through videos. I was talking about people who come in through other means. They're not actually the same reply.

It's better than making useless posts just for the postcount.NOOBY93 wrote:TeckXKnight wrote: There are usually a healthy handful that stick though so it's not a terrible thing.Am I the only one who thinks people repeat each other if the answer is correct just for the reputation?Sevenless wrote:One thing some people are missing: while this is an increase in new players, haven always get a steady trickle of newbs from word of mouth. Who posts to raise postcount? Anyway, that's like I asked you:
"Why are you eating dirt when you can eat chocolate?"
You answered:
"It's better to eat dirt than to eat nothing."
Just don't copy other people's posts for the reputation and there you go.
