Blackscreen when trying fullscreen

Whenever i try to switch to fullscreen mode i can only see my cursor and black screen.

As I recall (I doubt its changed) fullscreen mode has always been extremely buggy, and typically resulted in a black screen instead of... Well, the game.

If you're using Windows, adding this argument in your run.bat should help:

java.exe -Xms256m -Xmx512m -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

you might give explanations of what that arguments are supposed to do:
Turns off the Java 2D system's use of DirectDraw and Direct3D completely

Better try with a big resized window...

With this argument content of window at final stage is rendered on screen by GDI instead of DirectDraw.
