Nope. You have to be the person to harvest it or buy it from a barter stand.

How do I use the hotbar? Can't seem to find anything on it in the wiki or "how to" for it. Help?

You don't find anything because it's custom client related not game related (no Hotbars in default client - i'm wrong see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22391&start=5190#p443889 ) - you having the Hotbar unlocked (open lock symbol at hotbar) than drag the icon you want to have on hotkey in there and lock again ...

Do you lose anything if you go back to your hearth fire? (Like lifting a Wicker Basket?) Will you respawn the same way the first time or will it be different?

I thought you could from the custom clients. I never bothered with it because there were problems with trying to use things such as waterskins from the hotbar.borka wrote:No
