Wooden Bow vs Ranger Bow

Okay, before I get the 'read the wiki' bullshit, i'd just like to say that I find the wiki to be a tad confusing and would like to clarify something. Would it be better to use a absolute shit Q rbow over a Q120+ wooden bow? I am aware of the load speed difference, but in terms of damage and penetration is what I'm asking about.

standard formula for damage (when using the same ammo)

300*sqrt(q/10) for rbow
110*sqrt(q/10) for bow

so if you had a q10 rbow that would be 300 damage.
a q120 bow would be 381 damage.

Using the same ammo you're better off to use a q120 bow

I'm pretty sure there's no penetration on both.
Damage, I'm pretty sure rbow deals thrice the damage, but you can calculate it. Q20 rbow = around 1.41x multiplier of base dmg.
Q120 wbow = around 3.45x multiplier.
If wbow = 1, rbow = 3, then rbow = 4+ dmg, and wbow 3.45 dmg. So here, rbow would win by dmg.

Then I must be mistaken, how is it calculated that the arrows will pass through the armor?

If your damage dealt is higher then their armor class then you'll hurt them for however much more damage you have. Nothing fancy about

Also make you you know how to run and shoot with Ctrl + click while aming, really usefull at high MM.
