OK, so the .bat file is OK.
How do I actually run the client now?

run the bat file: either by doubleklicking it or going through start -> Run -> point to run.bat -> OK
(the run.bat is the file to start Java with the client)
you might even link it on Desktop, save this Icon icon.ico (url works 7 days only) in Ender folder and make it the icon for linking (Properties)

When I run the .bat file, it just goes to command prompt for two seconds, and then disappears.
There aren't any error messages showing. It just shows the code that was edited before. :-\

Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res
pauseedit in a new line containing the word pause
that way the CMD window stays open and might show error messages

ctrl + n for nightvision
If it's the odd square in the topleft of your screen you're concerned about - you need to apply the update to enders client.

1 more problem. My ender client won't save settings, shortcuts but saves positions of inventory and minimap.
How can i save the shortcut bars and things that are highlited etc?
Thanks.

Well, do you see any .belt files in your ender's folder?
My character's name is, for example, Ever2. The file that contains shortcut bars is Ever2.belt
If it saves no such thing as a belt file there's a problem. If it saves lots of them, make sure you're not constantly switching characters.
