Now that ropes have been added to the game, I was thinking that they should be given more uses than just animal domestication. For one, you should be able to hang yourself, just to give people an option other than drowning.
On top of that I'd like to see something that allows for various public executions, for example a public hanging, stoning, burning, decapitation etc.
The mechanism used for this could be the same one as the one that's being used when quelling animals. The only difference when murdering a KO'ed person now is that you would be able to choose between a regular murder or a public execution. If you were to choose for a public execution, that character would still die, but you would be able to get the body to follow you to the execution site and perform any of the various executions in front of an audience there.
Performing the execution would not leave any additional murder scents other than the ones that were left at the perpetrator's original murder site.
I think it's an idea that should be considered for development because it would add some public entertainment to the game as well as a way for every hearthling to participate even more in the drama and politics this game has to offer.

If you want to put those ropes to good use, I think that, with the way this game is going, suicide would make a much better feature.
