Seems the most trouble you get in because you're playing HnH over VPN and not normal gateway. As i don't know what reasons you have to do it like that, i can only suggest setting the VPN for torrent use only (if that's your cause) - just google for tutorials how to do it. -> error No 1

not sure but i guess the res file can't be downloaded from server in a proper time and thus the Ceres client uses the version from it's haven-res.jar which is prolly an older version... (just downloading the Ceres client to have a look but it will take me another hour as i'm on low inet speed atm)

you might rename the haven-res.jar in Ceres client and drop the one mvgulik uploaded http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?60x9pp7l0955cv0
into Ceres - it contains version 5 of laystone.res for sure

Know this is very late, but the error still persists, i dowloaded the new res and nothing seems to of changed. Running the debug results in:

The client will load to the login screen, but only remain there briefly until the client closes.

Well now Loftar has told me where the fault lies. The client has an error on reporting accurate Armor values if you log out with a bloated leech attached. When you log back in you armor is reported as almost not existent until you remove a leech then it is accurate again.

if you haven't solved the error yet you might download mvguliks collected haven-res.jar, rename existing first before moving downloaded into Ender folder
