Well, you did tell me you have 4 digits of pearls, so either you wasted them on something (which doesn't make it less true), or you were lying for the sake of lying, either way, you have a lot of wealth be it pearls or not. The pearls weren't the point. Was just explaining how little you get from a couple of hours of pearl grinding.ramones wrote:You should say "might have", cause you or anyone else have no idea what I have or what I don't have, except meNOOBY93 wrote:For comparison, ramones has 4 digits of pearls. Sorry to hear you were raided Ramo. I hadn't heard.ramones wrote:My wealth is on alts, that was just part of goodies that are being made weekly and kind raiders returned 80% of stuff they have gotten from the raid (ty for that).

As I said, I have made the updates to the original thread.
I have also shortened the naturalization for a large amount.
Below is what it looks like now:
Go ahead and take a look at the front page to see the changes.
Thanks.

I would like to welcome Amanosan into the Edelreich.
In other news, I have made changes to the OP. They are as follows (so you don't need to look back to see if they're pertinent to you):

This seems like something I would very much enjoy getting involved in, if I was still playing Haven.
Hopefully you are still here when Hafen comes around, Vaku. (Which will in turn hopefully improve the gameplay.)

It sounds more like a walled brodgar with a proper structure to me. Perhaps a less unorganized atmosphere?

I apologize for the delay in responding. As usual, I have been working on surprises to bring your way, some of which are ready in writing, but not in art (if you can even call the imitations I’ve done, “art.” Cartoons more like it. Anyways, more to come)!
I’ve always wanted Brodgar to be more than the self-deprecating “cesspool” that it allowed itself to be. I hope that when any of you join the Edelreich, that you can be proud and conscious of the role you have within the Union, and can achieve the sense that it is really you who is the architect of the impressive social bonds like the ones we have here.
Again, I invite you all, veterans and fresh-faced to join in these festivities, and allow yourselves to be the forefathers of this great thing we have here, the Edelreich.
(Some serious upheavals will be occurring, I've been informed. Such fun!
)
I am glad to see that you are excited for this prototype! By the time Hafen arrives, I hope to have all the kinks worked out of the social mechanics, making them fluid and fun, so that I can work to adapt them to whatever new features we encounter in Hafen.Robben_DuMarsch wrote:This seems like something I would very much enjoy getting involved in, if I was still playing Haven.

Watching the failures of Brodgar this world, and actually observing them when parsing the archives, has been a great learning experience. It has helped to inform me on how I ought to present this Edelreich business to all of you, to achieve realizable security, social mobility, and material prosperity.Lord_of_War wrote:It sounds more like a walled brodgar with a proper structure to me. Re: The Edelreich
No thank you Vaku. You have set yourself up in a position that does not change or allowed to be elected. You seek to regulate village life to a point they really have little control over their own place, you draw your protective army from the villages in your group so precious villagers are no longer working for them and not in those villages, you sabotage diplomacy from being fast to slow or non existent by creating fife's politics or requiring a congress vote, and the whole concept a hermit must register with you for any kind of recognition is absurd.
If you are serious about forming a viable neutral group then remove your absolute position, present your ideas as suggestions and not forcing amendments to them, and of course make sure you have a resonable membership before laying such things out. No alts or friends village to unduly influence things.
When you have achieved that and allow your members to select what works best for them all rather than dictate you might be better off. Democracy and Republican ideals are nice, except in games. People have nothing to loose or commit to other than a virtual creation so it rarely works out well. People subvert, twist, and deceive.
