about mines
well i found an iron node, i was wondering that if a make another level below the first one would give me better iron, or i have to look in the first level for a node underground?

Re: about mines
How did you find the node? If you prospected it, what you prospected is always a level below you. If you chipped ore from a cave wall then its obviously on the level you chipped it from.
And yes, ore qualities generally are greater the lower the level it was mined from; although qualities do change (I think they are related to soil nodes on the surface), so it's possible to find a better quality node a level higher if you find a particularly good node.

Yes, you need to prospect again once you're down in the minehole to find ore nodes on the next level down. In the worst case, you might need to just put another minehole and tunnel in one direction until you find an ore nodeDarmik wrote:yes i prospected it, so i have to prospect on the mine to find more ore below? is not directly on the same spot?
