i know one reaaallly old pclaim , i wish to get the area for my self.

so do i need vandalism for braking the pclaim , and if i brake it will it leave scents of it.

yes and no

You only need trespassing to access the claim, if the claim is truely abandoned it will allow you to destroy the stick without leaving any other scents.

aye good to know , so it will not even try to destroy it if its too "fresh" , though i know the claim is old

its been there since world started lol

No, it won't, your char will just stand there doing nothing. I know a few 'abandoned' claims though where nothing is going on but the owners must log in once a month just to keep them active, for whatever reason, so it's not always as it seems.
