Is it alright if I make a private server to play with myself

Bondle - you can't have a private HnH server... the server code is closed source - it's the property of Seatribe (Loftar and jorb)

You'd need to program and draw completly your own game - like Jungletoe and crew do

As he wants it for himself there would be no need to deliver but i guess he's just not aware of the work he'd have to do ... like others before him (that "tortured" me on Skype with questions...)

Recomendation : check on the web for free game engines - do something with it and learn ... with some you don't even need to do graphic wizardry as they contain some already or other users made some and offer to use them for free ... -> rpgmaker for example
