it's better in my book if they'll give you refuge from persecution. That's exactly what it is, too--persecution. Thank you Russia for giving him sanctuary. Sad state of affairs when Americans have to flee "the land of the free" and find refuge in Russia.
(Of course, this is assuming that the laws can be applied in a logical and fair manner, which in this case, they can't be, according to the justice department, because he wasn't an actual member of the CIA.... fucking horseshit of a country some of us have to live in.)
