Boat in swamps

I cant think of any reason you could not. You can boat in shallow water but not boat. You can walk in shallow water and swamps. Just wondering.

It'll be realistic if they're a plentiful amount of trees or something that causes a hit box to make it semi difficult to boat. The hit-boxes will make it difficult for boaters on the swamp to evade enemies or simply forage (Imagine a fucking flot bot and a swamp bot all in one).

A speed reduction maybe? Swamp, marsh, bog and other terrain types of the gooey schlopp variety would be notoriously difficult to paddle through what with all the swamp flora sucking and tangling in your craft.

Harder but certainly not impossible.

I think swamps are fine. Considering the nature of how they are in size and shape in the game most would not benefit adding boating.

Its comparatively easy to implement which is why I suggested it.

I woudn't need to step off my boat and leave a trespassing scent to forage a bluebell on high quality swamps. That's one positive thing I can think about actualy.
I think it's a good idea, makes sense.

I say no, because it would make it too easy for botters to do their thing, It wouldn't drain energy, and you wouldn't get leeches. Even if the movement would be slowed you still wouldn't have to bring water and you would have room for 1-2 chest for even longer periods of botting. Then on top of that, going of what julian said, if you find a lake with a swamp next to it, it would be a gold mine for a botter to get all their botting done in one shot.

I say no, because if devs are going to waste time on implementing something as useless as this, there's no hope left.

Yes its useless but it's manageable and a quality of life thing. Like I said I suggested it because it would be easy not because it's great.
